I drew some pictures from The Last of Us, because Geop and his friend have started a LP of it on SA, and it was a game I liked a lot. I’ll be posting more under my the last of us tag.
More art soon!
I drew my pets as Animal Crossing villagers because it seemed like a good idea. I miss my Union though. (She was a greyhound and the regular dog model just looked too fat)
Hello! I am starting a Let’s Play of a 2008 point-and-click adventure game called The Lost Crown. It is on the SomethingAwful.com forums, where good let’s plays live. If you are interested, please check it out! (It is a screenshot LP, so I can’t link you to youtube or anything.) I’m not sure if the forums are public right now or not, but I suspect a bunch of you are goons anyways.
Soooooo a visitor to my town left a pattern and Annalisa picked it up…
I figured out a way to post these! There’s 7 more images (all too tall for tumblr) so here is the imgur gallery and you can read them all! (Images constructed from my SA posts about it.)
I don’t wanna hear if you think this is offensive because it’s actually hilarious.
Eyyyy guess who found her Mass Effect ideas notebook? And guess who found the motivation to draw a couple things from it? (Hint: They are both the same person.)
So I’ve been pretty bummed since my dog died, but the other day I felt like doing some dumb videogame comics, so I think I’m doing a little better now.
Man watercolors scan so bad! I’m already not very good at them.
So, I haven’t drawn a lot in a while, which I’ve posted about already. I was starting to feel more like I had the motivation and energy for it, but then my dog died about a month ago. I loved Union like crazy, she meant the world to me, and I was completely devastated when it all happened so fast. She had osteosarcoma in one leg, there was a surgery to amputate it to extend her life, but she’d had heart problems for a while and died a few hours later. I’m still adjusting to things without her but the cats have helped.
I’m finally starting to feel a little more like I could do something creative, so I decided to do a little project for the cats and document it. Of course never having sewn anything before I did a poor job of it and it became a funny video.
It sure has been a long time since I drew stuff! Sorry folks. I tend to have a couple months of no-drawing now and then. However that’s usually followed by lots and lots of drawings again. I’m feeling like I need to do lots of drawings again soon, but I haven’t figured out what. Perhaps cute animals. Perhaps cute Animal Crossing. Perhaps something entirely my own??? So I guess… stay tuned.
My computer is kind of having trouble lately. Things go slow and I’m not sure why, I do what I can to keep it running good. I guess it’s just an old laptop! I was looking up how much a new desktop would cost and then I remembered how broke I am because of vet stuff. :[ Also Union’s limping is not getting much better so soon she will need xrays. :[ :[ I gotta figure how how to make some money!
I am the proud owner of Annie in the Forest, a new print issue by Tom Siddell of Gunnerkrigg Court! I enjoyed Annie’s forest adventure part 1, so as is my way I drew some doofy sketchy comics. (They are totally unrelated to the content of the comic though, except Annie being a cutie pie.)
It’s a really great comic! It’s A4 size so there’s lots of page to read, which is nice as Tom very nicely incorporates some manga print techniques. The black and white also highlights his inking and linework which has always been pretty pro. I can’t talk about the story, but there’s lots of charming stuff in it, including a particularly charming character or two. There’s some stuff to think about, and also you can start to see why Annie came back a little different after her stay! You should buy one when you get the chance (although I guess they’re not available just yet).
